Marketing Coordinator

Summary

Strategically assist with developing and managing Marketing programs, designing and facilitating day to day marketing materials.  Writing, creating and editing marketing support material, directly working with the graphic design team to bring concepts to life.

Reporting To

Vice-President of Sales

Primary Duties

NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT:
Facilitate all aspects of new product development along with the Vice President of Sales. 
To include: assist with launch strategy, concept, launch timeline execution, package development, logo development, market, pricing and advertising development.

DAY TO DAY MARKETING:

Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for writing, creating and editing all marketing support programs and materials.  Working in unison with the design team to facilitate the production of all promotional and support programs for the field staff. 

 

SALE REPORTING AND MONITORING:

Assist with all aspects of weekly sales reporting including compiling the reports, drafting written communication to summarize reports and verbally communicating the reports on sales calls and in corporate business reviews.

 

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT:

Continue to develop brand presence in social media, to include facebook, twitter, pinterest, etc.

TRADE AND CONSUMER ADVERTISING DEVELOPMENT:

Participate in trade advertising/media strategy development.  Communicate with Publicist to coordinate and facilitate all media opportunities.

WEBSITE MANAGEMENT:

Coordinate with our website company to facilitate updates to content, images, and website functionality.

 

E-COMMERCE:

Work directly with our e-commerce partners to facilitate B. Kamins presence on their sites to optimize sales.  The Marketing Coordinator will be directly responsible for the sales performance of e-commerce programs and achieving sales plans as assigned.

 

TRADE SHOW EVENTS COORDINATION AND PLANNING:

Directly facilitate the planning and coordination for all US and Canadian trade shows.

 

 

 

Minimum Hiring Specifications

Education / Training

A University Degree in Marketing or equivalent work experience is required.  We are seeking a professional who is interested and passionate in the prestige beauty and/or luxury goods industry.  Candidate must have strong analytic, strategic, organization and communication skills.  Candidate must be results-oriented, have demonstrated leadership abilities, along with the ability to work within a cross-functional team and be bilingual (French/English).

Preference will be given to those with Beauty industry experience.

Most importantly, the individual should be comfortable with a small, entrepreneurial environment where each member of the team is asked to help with administrative duties and miscellaneous tasks from time to time.
