Ben Kaminsky, a preeminent pharmaceutical and dermatological scientist, has been developing medicines for physicians across North America and the world for over 30 years. His unique skincare formulations have recently earned him Spa Life’s Canadian Ingenuity Award in recognition of outstanding, innovative topical preparations. A graduate of the Faculté de Pharmacie de l’Université de Montréal, Kaminsky founded Montreal-based Odan Laboratories in 1974 and began to develop his breakthrough formulas in the field of progressive pharmaceutical skincare. In 1997 Ben Kaminsky and son, Howard partnered to form B. Kamins, Chemist, and bring the science of Ben’s research and development direct to the consumer in a range of unique and effective cosmeceutical skincare products.

The success of B. Kamins, Chemist has not slowed down Ben Kaminsky who is a member of numerous professional societies including L’Ordre des Pharmaciens, the Canadian Pharmaceutical Association, the American and Canadian Societies of Cosmetic Chemists, the International Society of Cosmetic Chemists and the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists. An avid supporter of educational institutions, Kaminsky has lectured extensively and continues to sponsor university educational seminars and student scholarships. In addition, he has also helped fund the purchase of specialized laboratory equipment to further university scientific research.
